This Balgowlah home was transformed to create a larger, more functional footprint for a young family. A new upper-level addition and reconfigured layout allowed for better separation of spaces, while still maintaining the charm of the original home.
At the rear, an open plan kitchen, dining and living area connects seamlessly to a covered outdoor entertaining space, designed for easy, everyday living. A soft, neutral palette, warm timber floors and custom joinery create a relaxed feel, with a strong focus on practicality and longevity.
Considered material selections elevate the home throughout, while externally the design sits comfortably within its streetscape, balancing old and new.
