This Mother’s Day, the Stony Creek team had the honour of supporting a deeply meaningful event, partnering with Women & Children’s First’s Mother’s Day Lunch at the Manly Pacific. Our entire team proudly joined together at a table, showing solidarity, respect and heartfelt support for women and children overcoming hardship.
The Mother’s Day Lunch provided a powerful atmosphere of hope, resilience and community. With inspiring speaker stories and uplifting entertainment, the event reminded everyone why this cause matters. Organised by Women & Children First, this luncheon supports a vital mission: ending gender-based violence, preventing homelessness and empowering families facing crisis.
Stony Creek’s commitment wasn’t just financial, we were present. The full team came together to visibly stand with the cause. It was moving to see the team listen with compassion, engage with speakers and connect with fellow supporters.
Thanks to the generosity of attendees and sponsors, the Mother’s Day Lunch raised an impressive $113,000. A sum that will directly fund critical services such as emergency accommodation, trauma counselling, support groups and more. These funds are more than numbers, they represent safe spaces secured, children comforted and new opportunities for families rebuilding after crisis.
